There's nothing like a hat to pull an outfit together whether it's for a special occasion, your vintage event or your daily commute. Little Sister Millinery makes hats and headpieces for you combining vintage and classic styling to give you something special and handmade using classic couture millinery design and technique.

I attended a couture silk flower-making course at Central St. Martins School of Art in London in 2016. This was followed by training in traditional and couture Millinery at Leeds College of Art throughout 2016/17 with Lorna Young. I've also had training in London with Tracy Chaplin, Joanne Edwards and Judy Bentinck.

I prefer to work natural materials such as wool, sinamay and straw and often use vintage materials as I'm interested in sustainable fashion with a low carbon footprint. I occasionally work with re-purposed vintage fur felt (never new fur from farmed rabbits) and use ethically-souced feathers on rare occasions.

Since I started Little Sister Millinery I have been privileged to have many clients enjoying wearing bespoke headwear, from vintage-style day hats to modern occasion wear. I would love to make something special for your day - Please email me to discuss your requirements.
